Martin L. Holmes, Sr. President, Holmes Smith Developments, Inc. Marty Holmes, President of Holmes Smith Developments, Inc., has a 25-year career in commercial real estate, including executive positions in real estate development with SCANA Corporation and L.J. Hooker Developments. Holmes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University with real estate graduate study at UNC Charlotte and Winthrop College. He has been a contributing writer and Editorial Advisory Board Member for The Real Estate Report of Columbia and is a candidate for the CCIM designation. Holmes is a Board Member and Past Chairman of The Childrens Hospital at Palmetto Health. Additionally, he takes an active role in economic development affairs throughout the Southeast.
